Spring Cleaning - New Website!

We figured after 14 years with the same website we should have a more modern look. We hope you enjoy it, we will be working to update the news more often, here are some current updates;

June 23rd at 4PM {{PRESENTED BY: Washington Broadband Inc.}}Yakima Uncorked- Wine & Food Festival will highlight premium northwest wines grown right here in our valley and exquisite food. Yakima Uncorked invites you to celebrate the rich culture of our community featuring; wine, beer, food, arts, and live music right in the heart of wine country.

A year ago we purchased a cable system in the Gleed, Naches, Cowiche, Tieton, Nile and North Selah. We anticipate being able to move existing customers to the new system and provide service to those where trees were an obstruction.

This will be our most ambitious year ever purchasing 60 miles of fiber optic cable we are moving to a more 'wired' network with the increasing abuse of unlicensed frequencies by new providers and home routers.

Speaking of bandwidth abuse on the unlicensed spectrum home router manufacturers are selling 'AC' routers that use dual 80Mhz (Megahertz) frequencies essentially wiping out most of our signals. If you buy a router please consult the manufacturer to either turn off the 5Ghz (gigahertz) radio, turn off the guest Access Point or at least narrow the frequencies to 20Mhz if you must use 5Ghz. Wiping out all spectrum will just make your own service less reliable.

We're in Yakima! Last summer we completed building a tower on Lookout Point opening up north Yakima, many of our new calls for service come from existing Spectrum customers who are tired of the constant price hikes. Give us a call we'd love to see if "you can see us"!

Remember we have after hours support 24/7 by calling our main line and pressing 2 for residential customers. We want you happy with your service! Tell your neighbors we are VERY dependable and our price still hasn't gone up, that's what a neighbor Internet provider can do for you!

Thank you,
